Shed installation in London & Kent, built square and fixed down.
We assemble timber, metal and plastic sheds on a level concrete base, anchored down, with packaging taken away. If you need the base too, the same team does both.

Why shed installation goes wrong
Most flat-pack shed problems start with the ground, not the kit. If the base is out of level by even a little, the frame twists, panels stop lining up, the door catches and the roof lets water in. Fixing that after the shed is up is a painful job.
We build the shed on a base we have checked for level, so the walls go up square from the first panel. That is the main reason people ask us to do the base and the shed together.
What we install
We assemble timber, metal and plastic sheds from the kit you have bought or ordered. You can buy the shed yourself and have us put it together, or ask us what size suits the space before you order.
- Timber sheds in the common cladding styles
- Metal garden stores
- Plastic and resin sheds
- Assembled square and level on a concrete base
- Fixed and anchored to the slab
- Packaging and offcuts taken away
Doing the base and the shed as one job
When we pour the base ourselves the sequence is simple. We dig out and compact, reinforce and pour the slab, let it cure, then put the shed up. The concrete is firm to walk on after 24 to 48 hours, and we suggest waiting about 7 days before putting a heavy shed on it. A light kit can sometimes go up sooner, so ask.
One team means one person to call and no gaps where a base contractor and a shed fitter blame each other for a problem.
Preparing for delivery and installation
Check that the shed will physically get to the spot. Measure the gate or passage and tell us the width. Our digger and dumper kit starts around 80cm, and shed panels are often longer than they are wide, so long sections may need carrying round by hand.
Clear the area of plants and furniture if you can. If you have an old shed standing where the new one goes, we can remove it first and break out the old base as part of the same job.
Choosing and siting your shed
Most garden sheds do not need planning permission under permitted development, but there are exceptions. Check with your council if you are in a conservation area, the house is listed, or the shed will be tall or close to a boundary. Leave a little space around the shed for air and maintenance, especially behind it, so timber panels can dry out.
Measure the space, then subtract room for walking round it. A shed that fills the whole gap leaves no way to treat the timber, clear leaves or reach a window. Check the door swing as well, because a door that opens onto a path or a fence post is a daily annoyance.
Think about what you will keep inside. Bikes, a mower and tools need a wide door and a solid floor. If you plan to use the shed as a workshop with a bench and power tools, tell us, because that affects the thickness of the base and how the floor is supported.
Ask us before you buy if you are unsure. A photo of the space and a rough width and length is enough for us to say whether a particular size will fit and whether the ground needs work first.

Questions
Can you assemble a shed I have already bought?
Yes. Send us the make and model or the box dimensions, plus a photo of where it will go and the access. We will check it is practical and give you a price.
Do you install sheds on existing concrete bases?
Yes, as long as the slab is level, sound and large enough for the footprint. Send a photo and the measurements and we will tell you whether it is suitable or needs repair.
How long does it take to put a shed up?
It depends on the size and the kit. A small shed can be a few hours' work; a large workshop-style shed can take a day or more. We give you an estimate when we quote.
Is the shed fixed to the base?
Yes. We fix the shed down onto the slab so it does not shift in strong wind.
